Companies

Companies represent your clients. Each project belongs to a company, and invoices are generated per company.

Managing companies

  • Click New Company to add a client.
  • The company detail page has tabs for General, Address, Contacts, Invoices, Projects, and Settings.
  • Deactivating a company is blocked while it has active projects.

Xero contact sync

With the optional Xero Sync add-on, companies stay in step with your Xero contacts: edits here push to the linked Xero contact, and changes made in Xero flow back automatically.

Companies are for client work only. Internal time — leave, training, admin — is tracked with Activities, which don't belong to a company.
